People make me snicker

Today I got the majority of my photos printed for my exhibition. The owner of the print store said to me at one point after opening a number of my digita files -- "This is blurry, you know that? I can print this well for you and make the color nice, but there is nothing I can do to fix this image and make it right".

I told him I would never want anyone to try to "fix" it.

Then some crickets chirped and everyone looked around at each other. This type of response happens to me all the time.




I know this question is primitive and only the foundation of where I take my art, but WHY oh why does society only accept photographs that are crystal clear an instanantly representative of something they know? Hello limitations; time to break free.

We should make arrangements to hang out! I'm usually good on weekends. My number hasn't changed.

As far as a DSLR goes, most of them are so good these days that you don't even need to worry about that part of the equation. The lens makes everything!
